Case: Solid Mahogany with Adamantine finish. Adamantine is a celluloid veneer that was developed in the late 1800�s and used on clocks originally to duplicat the French Marble. Convex dial and glass were new at this time for Srth Thomas. Width 16 1/2" , height 9 1/2" depth 5 1/2"

Awesome weighted pendulum. Never seen one like it.
Back of pendulum bob. The small shaft above the screw probably had a knob of some kind to turn the length adjustment gear.
Removal of the screw reveals a small gear to adjust the pendulum lenght and also small lead weights. Adding weight to the bottom has the same effect as lengthening the rod.
