Complete lables on back reading (inpart): Eight-Day striking movement with polished steel springs, stop-work, and a patented arrangement to alow hands to be turned backward without injuring the sriking part. also - Patent SELF ADJUSTING PENDULUM - The pendulum immediatly adjusts to itself to any position in which the clock is placed, therefore it is always in perfect beat whether the clock stands level or not.
